Buhle Geleba is a dynamic and driven media professional with experience in broadcast media and public relations. Her journey in the media fraternity has been shaped by a deep commitment to connecting with audiences, creating impactful narratives, and promoting meaningful engagement across industries and platforms.

With a strong academic foundation, she is in the final stages of completing her Master’s degree in cultural policy and management and has developed an extensive skill set in development, cultural diplomacy, communication, and production management.

Her career is one that is embedded in narratives that uplift communities, particularly black women, by fostering collaboration, empowerment, and personal growth. This is informed by her investment and belief in strong social-economic development for the marginalised. In 2024 she participated in a cultural policy and governance summer school to enhance cultural diplomacy relations between South Africa and Belgium at the University of Antwerp.

In 2024, she was also honoured and recognized as one of the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans in the film and media category. This milestone was a pivotal moment in her career, reinforcing her commitment to using media as a tool for social impact. Being acknowledged for her contributions, including her work as a news anchor on SABC as well as her role in the election coverage with Elections 360 Daily, this has further fueled her passion for shaping powerful narratives that inform, inspire, and empower.
