Joy Anwulika Adigwe is a communications and media development professional with African Women in Media (AWiM), where she currently leads work focused on SourceHer!, AWiM’s platform connecting journalists and Editors with women experts across Africa and the diaspora. Having been involved in SourceHer!’s evolution from its earliest stages as a simple spreadsheet directory through multiple platform iterations, she has played a key role in its growth into a dynamic resource that strengthens women’s visibility as expert sources in media.

Her work spans strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, digital platform development, and advancing gender equity in media. Passionate about amplifying women’s voices and expertise, she works to bridge gaps between journalists and underrepresented experts while supporting more inclusive and representative storytelling across the media landscape.
