Deborah M. Ndjerareou is a humanitarian, writer, and founder of We Write Afrika, a platform dedicated to promoting positive African narratives through storytelling, research, and youth engagement. Originally from Chad, she has worked across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America in humanitarian response, partnerships, resource mobilization, and development programming. Deborah holds master’s degrees in International Affairs and Diplomacy and Creative Writing, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Diplomacy and International Affairs. Passionate about Africa’s future, she uses storytelling as a tool for advocacy, social change, and reshaping global perceptions of the continent.
