Albright Ayoyi Alitsi is a disability rights advocate, university scholar, and Founder of the Lola Crotchet Organization in Nairobi. Through crochet and textile artistry, she advances disability inclusion, women’s empowerment, and sustainable community development. She has facilitated trauma‑informed workshops on civic education, reproductive justice, and disability rights, mentoring youth across East Africa. Her work bridges grassroots movements and global institutions, positioning art as a tool for advocacy, healing, and feminist leadership. Albright envisions inclusive governance and resilient African economies shaped by creativity, solidarity, and disability‑inclusive feminist leadership.
